Temple Completion Part I

So construction is finished on the Tikal Temple. FINALLY. 100 hours later. Now we are in the final stages of putting all the pieces together and getting it on the display board. Then we'll add the grass. This is the first pic of the end process.

Here's a pic of the original temple:

  1. I am "confused" again - wrote one comment on the temple and didn't go through so then I wrote another about Maxie and it did - so all I want to say is that temple is just wonderful and I will be eager to see what your teacher has to say about it - bet it gets rave reviews! Love, aunt

  2. The TEMPLE looks great! Just like the picture. What did you put on there to give it that stone look? It really looks real. Did they have elevators? How did the "dudes" get up to the top hole? Did they only access the top through the stairs or could they come up from inside somehow? It's amazing to me that the "workers" (aka "slaves") were able to build something that massive with manual labor. I think these issues/questions need addressed in your short report (cc: bren)...........Great job! I loved seeing the progression of the project - thnks for sharing that! love, pickles
